Glenn R. Kelly

President & CEO

 

Mr. Kelly, a Director of CO₂ Solution since February 2008, was appointed President & CEO in August 2008.  Prior to joining CO₂ Solution, Mr. Kelly was President & COO of Rabaska Inc., a subsidiary of Gaz Metro, Gaz de France and Enbridge Inc.  Previously, Mr. Kelly was President of Intragaz Inc., a company specializing in the development and operation of underground natural gas storage facilities.  A recognized leader and experienced energy industry executive, Mr. Kelly holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Queens University and an MBA from Laval University. 

 

  

Normand Voyer, Ph. D.
Vice-President, Biocatalysis

 

Dr. Voyer joined CO₂ Solution in 2006 as Vice-President, Technology Applications, and acted as Interim President & CEO from January 2008 to August 2008.  Dr. Voyer is a member of CO₂ Solution's Scientific Advisory Committee.  Dr. Voyer is recognized for his research in bioorganic chemistry, and is the founder of the Quebec Research Centre on Protein Structure, Function, and Engineering (CREFSIP).  Dr. Voyer also served as Director of Chemistry at Biopharmacopae Design International Inc. and was a Visiting Scientist for E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. in Wilmington, DE.  Dr. Voyer holds a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from Laval University and a Postdoctoral Degree in Bioorganic Chemistry from UCLA.

Sylvie Fradette, Ph. D., Eng.
Vice-President, Research and Development

Dr. Fradette was appointed to direct the research and development activities of the Company in 2007, having previously been involved as a researcher and an architect of the Company's technology platform since 1998.  Prior to this, Dr. Fradette was involved in post graduate studies at Laval University where she received a Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering in the application of biocatalysts as tools for new processes.  Dr. Fradette is also a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.

Linda Parent
Vice-President, Finance and Administration

Ms. Parent joined CO₂ Solution in 2001 and has directed the Company's financial management and reporting activities since its IPO in 2004.  From 1992 to 2001, she was Controller and Finance and Administration Manager for Groupe équiconcept Inc., a diversified holding company with business interests in medical equipment, retail optical and manufacturing.

Jonathan A. Carley
Vice-President, Business Development

Mr. Carley was appointed Vice-President, Business Development on October 30, 2008.  He joined CO₂ Solution as Director, Business Development, in May 2008, to lead the Company's efforts to secure deployment, partnership and licensing arrangements for its technology.  Mr. Carley's career spans more than 10 years of progressive experience in the areas of business development, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.  Prior to joining CO₂ Solution, Mr. Carley was Director, Development & Projects for Permolex International, L.P. a leading North American biofuels producer, where he was responsible for leading a number of strategic initiatives including its biomass energy and carbon credit programs.  Mr. Carley also spent over five years in the venture capital industry with an Ontario-based private equity fund focused on active investments in renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and information technology.
